Sword is a weapon family rather than a fixed class. Its Martial Arts can change the exact skill set, but the familiar reach and defensive rhythm make it an approachable first half of a Path.
Learn the active Martial Art's resource loop before raising several sword styles. Pair it with a second art that adds sustain, reach or a reliable way to convert a deflect into pressure.
Weapons 02
Reach and forward pressure help punish openings without standing directly under every target.
Spear Martial Arts create space and approach angles that compact melee weapons cannot. The family is useful for players who prefer deliberate entries and a clearer gap between defense and retaliation.
Choose by Path and skill text rather than family name alone. A spear pairing succeeds when its second weapon uses the position or status the spear creates.
Weapons 03
Fan styles can bring ranged damage, healing or support to a weapon pair.
Fans broaden a loadout beyond direct melee and can provide safer pressure or recovery. The equipped Martial Art decides whether a particular fan is primarily offensive or supportive.
A fan is most valuable when its utility answers a weakness in the other weapon. Check the Path interaction and Inner Way triggers before assuming every fan belongs in the same role.
Weapons 04
Heavy, committed strikes reward players who can read an opening and finish the counterattack.
Mo Blade is the current official name for the heavy blade family that older guides may call Glaive. Its deliberate attacks trade quick correction for broad impact and strong punish windows.
Build around the exact Martial Art and its charged or counter mechanics. It feels best when defense creates enough time for the heavy action instead of forcing the attack into an unsafe opening.
Weapons 05
Fast pressure and mobile strings reward decisive close-range play.
Dual Blades favor repeated contact and quick repositioning. Their speed is exciting, but the best strings still respect enemy recovery windows and the resource shared with their paired Path.
Riven Twinblades pairs with Skystrike Gauntlets in Bamboocut–Draught. It builds Binge and closes distance before a swap continues the drunkenness loop at close range.
Weapons 06
Ranged control and support make the umbrella one of the arsenal's most distinctive wuxia choices.
Umbrella and Parasol are both used in English material for this family. Its Martial Arts can pressure at range, control space or support a paired weapon without copying a conventional bow rhythm.
Use its safe windows to prepare the other half of the Path. A useful pairing gives the umbrella a specific job between enemy attacks instead of treating it as decoration.
Weapons 07
Flexible reach and repositioning turn movement itself into part of the attack plan.
Rope Dart controls a different band of space from a sword or gauntlet. Its movement tools reward players who plan where the next exchange should happen rather than remaining fixed beside the target.
Bamboocut–Kite combines Rope Dart with Gauntlets, moving between tactical repositioning and close pressure. That confirmed Path shows why two complementary Martial Arts matter more than two favorite weapon shapes.

Heng Blade joined the global arsenal on April 2, 2026. Its official presentation emphasizes a measured blade style whose strongest moments follow accurate reads and controlled retaliation.
Treat the family as a timing choice, then inspect the chosen Martial Art and current balance text. A calm defensive loop is more dependable than forcing every counter opportunity.

Rapid combinations and explosive close-range bursts bring unarmed wuxia combat into the current arsenal.
Gauntlets arrived with Hidden Mountain 2.0. Their fast combinations make them a strong choice for players who want to stay close and turn a prepared resource state into a visible burst window.
