Featured ships

The Enterprise is one of the three grade-three epic faction ships. Scopely classifies it as an Explorer and gives it a defensive ship ability that restores shield health when it is hit while Morale is active.

It therefore needs more than a famous name: its crew must establish and maintain the state that activates the hull's ability. Compare that condition with the intended target before investing faction credits and uncommon materials.

The D'Vor is a specialty Survey ship tied to Latinum mining and its own progression loop. It belongs in an economic fleet, where protected cargo, travel time and the correct mining officers matter more than ordinary combat power.

Build it for the activity it unlocks rather than as a general replacement for every miner. D'Vor progression leads toward the later D'Vor Feesha and its Ferengi activity, so check refinery requirements before spending event currency elsewhere.

The Vi'dar opens the Borg Tactical Probe loop. Its activity-specific rewards advance Borg research and the ship itself, making it far more useful inside that loop than its general power suggests.

Develop it toward the progression requirement for the Vi'dar Talios. The Talios is a separate hull with its own advancement, so reaching it is a roadmap rather than a direct upgrade button.

Vi'dar Talios continues Borg-focused progression in its own hull. Treat the original Vi'dar as the prerequisite path and the Talios as a later activity ship rather than presenting both as one vessel.

Check the current database and refinery costs before committing Borg resources. Specialty-ship value comes from the loop and access it enables, not a universal fleet ranking.

The Franklin is designed around Swarm combat, where its dedicated bonuses and research matter more than its headline power against unrelated targets. It later leads into Franklin-A progression for higher Operations ranges.

Keep the ship's purpose narrow. Spend its special resources on the next useful tier and use ordinary combat ships for missions or opponents that do not activate Franklin bonuses.

Scopely introduced the Mantis for commanders at Operations 33 and above. Hunting Actian hostiles feeds a loop that rewards Syndicate XP and Strange New Worlds officer shards.

Venomous Puncture can target another ship, so the Mantis also has utility beyond farming. Read the current ability and cooldown in the client because later updates and refits have changed its surrounding progression.

Discovery's defining value is movement through its mycelial system rather than raw universal combat. It can reduce the friction of positioning ships for events, alliance activity and distant objectives.

Its later Summoning utility can bring another ship to Discovery's location. Treat the special travel resources as logistics tools: plan the destination and follow-up task first so each jump or summon saves meaningful time.

Titan-A was introduced as a Neo-Constitution utility ship for Operations 37 and above. Its Fortification abilities target the owner's ships and nearby alliance ships, increasing critical damage and, at the stronger level, regular damage.

That makes positioning and coordination the reason to build it. Its contribution is the fleet-wide opportunity it creates, so judging it as a solo damage hull misses the role described by Scopely.

Voyager belongs to the Delta Quadrant progression loop and uses activity-specific resources and research. It is valuable when its warp reach, hostiles and rewards advance that track, rather than as a permanent answer to every encounter.

Before committing daily currency, identify the next Voyager research or ship tier that changes access. This keeps a long specialty loop tied to a concrete capability instead of an unexamined power number.
