RAID Shards and summoning guide — read rates and event modifiers correctly

Separate base rarity odds from Champion-pool boosts, Progressive Chance and guaranteed events so every Shard decision serves an account goal.

The RAID Bastion where Champion summoning and account systems are managed

Start with the base chance

Mystery, Ancient, Void, Sacred and Primal Shards draw from different rarity and Champion pools. Open the live information panel before using them; it is the source for current base rates and event changes.

A named-Champion boost does not automatically multiply the absolute chance of receiving a Legendary. First the summon must reach the relevant rarity under the displayed rules, then the event changes selection within an eligible pool.

Separate the common event types

Summon boosts improve a named Champion's relative chance within the appropriate pool. Update 11.75 raised regular boosts from 10x to 15x. Progressive Chance events now step through 20x, 25x and 30x after their stated conditions are met. Neither description should be confused with a universal Legendary-rate multiplier.

Guaranteed Champion events use a stated number or type of summons. Increased-rarity events modify the chance of pulling a rarity. Fusion and Fragment events may award progress for summoning but should be evaluated against the complete event schedule and resources required.

Use Shards for a defined improvement

Save when the current roster already covers the next objective. Use a Shard event when its rules align with a missing role, a guaranteed target or a planned Fusion. Chasing a promoted Champion without enough resources to reach the meaningful condition can leave the account with less flexibility and no completed goal.

Mercy systems track unsuccessful attempts under specific Shard rules. Do not infer an exact count without your own summon history, and do not mix counters across Shard types.

Check the notice every time

Pools, event windows and modifiers change. Confirm eligible Champions, start and end time, progressive stages and whether the event changes rarity odds or only target selection. One minute reading the live notice prevents the most expensive misunderstanding in RAID.
