Where Winds Meet sects guide — choose a martial affiliation with purpose

Understand what a sect changes, which activities matter and why the best affiliation is the one that supports your intended jianghu life.

A sect is more than a combat label

Where Winds Meet lets the Wanderer align with factions and build a reputation through actions. Before joining, inspect the current membership conditions, activities, rewards and conduct expected by the group. A famous name is less useful than an affiliation whose routines match the way you want to play.

Separate sect identity from the combat Path. Martial Arts and Paths define the immediate rotation; a sect can shape social goals, access and role-play around the character. Choose each layer for its own purpose.

Mohist Hill belongs to Hidden Mountain

Version 2.0 adds Mohist Hill as a sect within Hidden Mountain's mechanical and philosophical setting. The region emphasizes observation, construction and the relationship between ideas and practical mechanisms. Players drawn to that identity should progress the local story and understand the regional systems before treating membership as another reward checklist.

Ask four questions before committing

  1. What current requirement opens membership?
  2. Which recurring activities does the sect expect?
  3. Do its rewards or techniques support the character you are building?
  4. Does its conduct fit the reputation and story you want?

Check the live sect screen for exact rules. Updates can change access or benefits, while the decision framework remains useful.

Let affiliation create stories

A sect is most valuable when it gives the Wanderer a reason to return, cooperate or make a meaningful choice. Join after the world has introduced its values, then use its activities to deepen an existing goal rather than adding another obligation to every session.
