Ragnarok: The New World launches in Southeast Asia and arrives on Steam
Gravity opened the Southeast Asia service except Vietnam on 16 July 2026; Steam followed on 26 July, while wider global release remained in preparation.
Gravity Game Vision launched Ragnarok: The New World for PC and mobile in Southeast Asia, except Vietnam, on 16 July 2026. Gravity's launch announcement names a native PC client, Google Play, and the App Store. Steam records a separate release date of 26 July.
The release should not be described as worldwide. Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau launched through a separate service on 15 January 2026. In Gravity's 7 August business update, the wider global release was still listed as being prepared.
Steam requires a Gravity account through the game launcher and lists cross-platform multiplayer. Official product copy advertises synchronized progress on supported phone, tablet, and PC clients, but players should keep the same regional service and account rather than assume cross-region character transfer.
The initial package centers on seven available jobs; Job Freedom with free stat and skill resets; offline hunting; safer refinement; player trading; party play; and MVP monsters that can become mounts.
For PC, Steam asks for 30 GB of available storage, 12 GB RAM at minimum, 16 GB RAM recommended, and broadband. Its operating-system, processor, and graphics fields remain blank.
