Faction Wars gives narrow Champions a permanent job

RAID advertises more than 900 Champions across 15 factions. Faction Wars limits each Crypt to its matching faction, turning roster breadth into progression. A Rare reviver, healer or control Champion can matter because the alternative within that faction does not cover the same role.

Preserve unique kits before using Champions as food. Keep at least one credible source of recovery, protection, control, Decrease DEF and boss damage in every developing faction where the roster allows it.

Build teams in layers

Early Crypt stages can reuse ordinary gear and partially developed Champions. Later stages demand level, Ascension, skills and intentional equipment. Invest first in Champions who also serve Campaign, Dungeons, Clan Bosses or Arena, then strengthen faction-only specialists as the Crypt becomes the next account bottleneck.

Use crowd control and revival to earn three-star clears. Completion conditions reward keeping the team alive, so a slower safe clear can create more permanent progress than a fast fragile run.

Lydia makes the route coherent

Completing the Faction Wars progression awards Lydia the Deathsiren. Her area Decrease DEF and Weaken, team buffs and anti-buff tools make her valuable across endgame teams. She turns separate faction projects into one account-wide objective.

Track the lowest Crypts, identify the missing job in each and wait for the right Champion before forcing inefficient upgrades. Faction Wars is a roster planning system as much as a combat mode.
