New Path

Where Winds Meet adds the Bamboocut–Draught Path

Skystrike Gauntlets and Riven Twinblades now share a Drunkenness loop built around Binge, Inebriate states and aggressive weapon swaps.

Fast close-range Martial Art combat in Where Winds Meet

Bamboocut–Draught is live in the global version of Where Winds Meet. The Path joins Skystrike Gauntlets with Riven Twinblades and gives both Martial Arts one readable core: Drunkenness.

How the shared resource works

Fighting and drinking build Binge points, which move the Wanderer through Inebriate states. Skystrike Gauntlets use deceptive, drunken footwork and the Tipsylay state to react from the ground or break defense. At deeper Inebriate, the style turns that preparation into explosive close-range pressure.

Riven Twinblades take the more direct role. Boundvessel converts a charged heavy action into repeated slashes that grow through continued contact, while Hero's Blood drives forward through enemy lines. At Deepdaze, the blade sequence gains an extended wave attack before spending accumulated Binge and Drunkenness.

The intended swap loop

The official explanation starts with Dual Blades closing distance and building Binge. At close range, swap to Gauntlets to keep fighting and deepen Drunkenness. Release the Gauntlet burst at the strongest window, then return to Dual Blades to use the enhanced state before it recedes.

That sequence makes the Path useful for learning the game's build logic. Each weapon contributes a different phase, the shared state is visible, and the swap has a mechanical reason. Practice the five-step loop before adding complicated Inner Way interactions.
