RAID Proving Grounds guide — build around Champion Pools and boss pairs

Use the rotating Champion Pool, stage multipliers and limited keys to prepare legal teams for the 27 one-round boss encounters.

A RAID team confronting a restricted high-level encounter

Restrictions define the puzzle

Proving Grounds opens at level 60 and contains 27 stages built around one-round boss pairs. Each rotation applies a Champion Pool and changing multipliers, so a generally powerful roster cannot simply repeat one team across every stage.

Open the current Pool before moving gear or resources. Mark Champions who satisfy the restriction and cover survival, control, debuffs and damage against both bosses. A legal team without a complete plan is still incomplete.

Spend keys on information

Players receive three Proving Keys and three Rematch Keys daily under the mode's published structure. Use an early attempt to identify the exact failure: which boss takes control, which effect is resisted and whether the team loses to timing or durability.

Rematch with one purposeful adjustment. A preset change, Accuracy threshold or different source of recovery can be more valuable than raising raw power across all five Champions.

Plan across the rotation

The 28-day structure rewards a broad, organized roster. Do not strip established Demon Lord or Arena teams for a marginal stage unless the reward justifies the disruption. Anomalous Accessories are the distinct reward goal, so compare the next stage with the account's present build needs.

Proving Grounds works best as a roster examination. It reveals which role or faction is underdeveloped and gives the next Champion investment a specific purpose.
