Alliance battle activity in Rise of Kingdoms

KvK preparation begins before entering the Lost Kingdom. Confirm the alliance plan, active hours, field march, hospital capacity, healing resources, speedups, and expected role. A late power increase cannot replace missing coordination.

Learn the season-specific rules

KvK1, later seasons, and Season of Conquest differ in commander access, matchmaking, map systems, and objectives. Read the current in-game season description and alliance instructions. Do not copy a preparation list from another kingdom age without checking applicability.

Build the march that will actually fight

Choose a primary and secondary commander, minimum skill state, troop type, equipment, formation, and armaments. Practice moving, retreating, reinforcing, and following focus calls. A complete single march is more useful than several armies that fill the hospital immediately.

Stock the recovery economy

War consumes resources and speedups through healing. Estimate what the account can sustain, keep gathering, and understand alliance help. Check hospital capacity before prolonged field fighting; overflow can turn a recoverable battle into permanent troop loss.

Follow territory and pass timing

Alliance territory, passes, structures, rallies, and reinforcement windows organize the campaign. Arrive before the objective opens, not after the main force commits. A march traveling alone through contested space is a target rather than support.

Distinguish field, rally, and garrison roles

Most governors should not lead every rally or garrison. Those roles demand specialized commanders, equipment, technology, and alliance trust. Supporting with the correct troop type, reinforcement timing, or field control can contribute more than leading an underprepared structure fight.

Fight for a measurable goal

Define the objective: protect a rally, clear an enemy march, hold a route, complete an achievement, or conserve troops for the next pass. Chasing retreating enemies can separate the march from support and consume healing resources without changing the map.

Review battle reports

Use reports to compare trades, damage sources, severely wounded troops, and whether skills or equipment activated as expected. Change one factor at a time. Raw kills without cost context can hide an unsustainable account.

Prepare for diplomacy and schedule pressure

Kingdom leadership may negotiate zones, allies, and objectives. Follow the published plan and know which instructions are mandatory. If the schedule repeatedly conflicts with real life, a different alliance is a better fix than treating every missed event as failure.
